Does the Almased Diet Work?

The Almased Synergy diet is an all natural, healthy formula designed with weight loss in mind.  Dieters are promised a quick jumpstart to their diet, while achieving enhanced nutrition from the all natural formula.  Dieters should find this diet to be safe and effective, while boosting energy and preserving muscle mass.

The Almased diet is based on a blend of enzyme rich honey, fermented soy, and probiotic yogurt.  Many other weight loss supplements contain harmful stimulants such as caffeine or ephedrine, but none of those are found in Almased.  Almased is designed to be a holistic meal replacement that will speed up the metabolism, improve levels of energy, and cause extra fat burning.  The appetite is reduced by an increase in the levels of the hormone ghrelin, which regulates hunger.

One basic plan of two weeks looks something like this.:

Week One

Replace all three meals with:

  • 8 Tablespoons Almased in cold water
  • 1 teaspoon of flaxseed, walnut, or olive oil
  • All the vegetable broth you care to drink.

Week Two

Breakfast

  • 8 Tablespoons Almased in low fat milk
  • 1 teaspoon of flaxseed, walnut, or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, vanilla or almond extract, or unsweetened cocoa, if desired

Lunch

  • Vegetables and salad
  • Lean meat or fish

Dinner

  • 8 Tablespoons Almased in water
  • 1 teaspoon of flaxseed, walnut, or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, vanilla or almond extract, or unsweetened cocoa, if desired

Disadvantages to the Almased diet are that dieters may become bored with such a limited variety of foods.  Almased can also be expensive.  The ingredients include soy, dairy, and honey, which are all natural, yet some dieters may have allergies to soy, or be lactose intolerant.

Some dieters have disliked the flavor of Almased.  The web site does offer a free trial so you can sample the product to see if you like it.  Almased is available online, at stores that sell vitamins, and some grocery stores.  Always check with your health care professional before making any major change to your diet.
